Do you know your weight?
American scientists from the University of Texas for three years watched a group of 466 women. Every six months they were asked a series of questions, and also asked to determine exactly their own weight. It turned out that most women do not define this figure correctly.
Often the discrepancies reached five kilograms. Moreover, women were inclined to play down their weight. The authors of the study believe that women simply do not notice the appearance of this excess volume, which causes serious concern.
“Hidden” pounds can be the cause of the development of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and other ailments associated with being overweight. So to get on the scales and accurately determine your own weight is important not only for beauty, but also for health.
